i have an HP laptop with 1.83 ghz duo core processor, 1 GB RAM, Win XP Professional. My problem is my laptop takes around 6-7 minutes to startup. I use Symantec Antivirus. Update the patch regularly, scan my laptop on regular intervals. i have removed many programs from startup using msconfig, stopped unnecessary services. but the problem remained the same. the laptop works fine after it boots up, but startup is a bit too long wait. can anyone help me plz...
