How can i enable regedit on my win98 computer?

My win98 computer got a worm virus and I have to virus scan it using kaspersky antivirus. Anti virus was sucessfull but regedit does't work anymore and the message is regedit was dissabled by your administrator. Is there a tool to restore the regedit for win98 computer?

Go to Start, then run, and type in the box, regedit and click enter.
start with safe mode and do again
you probably need a patch. try looking for it back at kaspersky in the support section. if there that good they will tell you what is needed to restore regedit.
Windows 98 is dangerous they don't patch it anymore no amount of virus or spyware scanners will help. If your using it because of an old machine you should try xubuntu.
