yesterday i downloaded a game, and while doing that i accidentally downloaded somekinda "spyware remover"...when i realized that, i cancelled it, but now everytime i use my browser to go online, periodically i get these popups. i used my antivirus to do a scan, and it found all the spyware and removed it, but i still get the pop ups. i also have a pop up blocker, and removed any unwanted programs from the add remove programs in the control panel. what can i do, cuz these pop ups are driving me crazy!!!

use different programs to remove the spyware, try hijack this, i had the same problem, and it fixed it hope it works

(1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode
