SVCHOST.EXE infected-WIN32\VB.WORM?

My scvhost.exe and svspool.exe has been infected by de above worm...i scanned with NOD32 antivirus...it is unable to clean..its asking whether to delete..shall i....????then wat dis win32 virus can do to my system ..i also unable to view my protected system files even if i uncheck it in folder option...suggest me some idea...other then foramtting...

There's a virus CALLED Svchost.exe, which is the same name as the critical system file, Svchost.exe.



Google search for AVG Antivirus, and run that-- this is an old worm and if that doesn't work, if you search "SVchost.exe worm remover" or something similar, there should be a number of helpful programs!

You can try to disinfect the file. The idea is that svchost.exe is a generic .exe file used to generate Windows services. Deleting the file in next to impossible. If you manage to delete svchost.exe your system will fail to start!
