Has anyone come across a Yahoo Messenger virus?

my sister's computer and my mom's laptop got infected with a virus, i think its from a chinese company or something.



i changes your status automatically and sends a message to all your contacts automatically one like this:



Tha nguoi dung noi se yeu minh toi mai thoi thi gio day toi se vui hon. Gio nguoi lac loi buoc chan ve noi xa xoi, cay dang chi rieng minh toi... http : / / nhatquanglan1 . 0catch . com



it's really annoying, do you guys have any idea how i can remove this? i tried scanning it with antiVirus but it still can't find it. i really hope someone could help me about this problem. thanks in advance!

The last time we had a Virus was a month ago. It was not the message you have but it was something my daughter opened from a friend. Unfortunately, the friend wasn't the one who had sent it. They somehow took over the contact list and tried to infect all the people on the list with an innocent attachment. It was a nightmare, especially when they spread other nasty things like pushdo, destructive malware etc. It basically disabled the entire system .



Your best to try Smitfraud and see if it can find it and get rid of it. You can also try Spybot Search and Destroy. You might want to try a different Virus Scanner and a Spy Sweeper (like Webroot). Make sure it's updated daily.
