Please help?abtuvurys 2005

shut down your computer completely.

wait a couple of seconds, and restart it using the Safe Mode

(hit F8 while it is booting up)

go into the safe mode ---yes it is going to look weird, fonts will be larger and missing some things, but it is ok.

once in the Safe Mode attempt to run a complete scan on yor computer.

if you cannot run the scan (even in Safe mode) then reinstall Norton and then run the scan.

****as a side note.....for both you and your mom---whenever creating or typing anything - save your files often. it is easier to recreate 5 minutes worth of data tha 5 hours.

any way...after you run the Norton Scan...follow the prompts.

you may also want to clear your temporary files, history and cookies (do that through Tools / Internet Options - when online)

good luck...i hope this helps.

:)
