Worm.. comment.htt?

i am using windows XP.. my PC is infected with the worm. When i scan my pc using Norton Antivirus it detects the file comment.htt but can not delete it or can not clean the worm. My Virus definatios are up to date.Whenever i start my pc the worm stops norton antivirus from loading and Disables the protection of antivirus. How can i remove this Worm please help me. Thanks

You may need to get into Safe Mode to remove it. Also search online for a 3rd party remover, they will usually have better programs to remove specific worms

Boot your computer in safe mode, put in your Norton Disk, and update, run scans. See if this can catch it.

Often they thwart you by disabling your firewalls first, which prevents them auto updating, then they hit you with new code.

Safe mode and your AV disk might save you, or you may need to run every free AV scan you can find.
get rid of norton (its a worm itself) get Avast boot into safemode and run the program
try bit defender. it can work wonders. it is a free online scan.
