I have the virus!!!!!?

I have Webroot Antivirus and I did a full scan and found out that I have a virus in my computer....it is called mal/generic.....I already quarantined it....and I found out it is a 4 rate....the worst...rate ever....Do i have to leave it in the quarantined or delete it right away and do another full scan....Plzz help i do not know what to do???

delete and rescan. also might goto www.trendmicro.com and do a free online scan(called housecall) .It is Always best to scan with another program just to be sure.

Click start%26gt;click run type in msconfig and then press enter. Goto the start up tab and uncheck everything except your anti virus,click ok and reboot.

If you quarantine it you should be ok. However some virus' reproduce themselves and are not immediately detected by Virus software. You may need to update your virus database, and run another scan. Eventually it will be destroyed. If not change you virus software. I've never heard of yours anyway.

Remove completely from your computer and disable the system restore.
You need to delete it asap. Then restart your computer
you need to reboot and reformat your computer
Delete it.
