My PC desktop turns complete blank sometimes ?????

i dont know what is the reason but my computer screen loose all of its icons sometimes ..i have tried to check all spyware or adwares and fully scanned my computer for antivirus ..but its still showing same problem ..i dont have any option xcept turn it off which i know is not safe for my comp ..so any suggestion plz

Right click on desktop%26gt;arrange icons by%26gt;lock web items on desktop
Probably viruses are doing this. If you really can't delete it, reinstall your computer.
Sid, if you're leaving your computer on 24 hours a day, it needs to be restarted once a day. Well, assuming it's running any version of Windows.

Also, Windows needs to be reinstalled after every 6-12 months, or things like you describe will start randomly happening. If you're running Windows XP, try doing a Repair install, which will just rewrite all of the important Windows files, and leave all of your data on your hard drive alone. You won't even need to reinstall any drivers.
