Trojan-backdoor-progdav???

Does anyone know how to remove this so called trojan-backdoor-progdav? I have a spysweeper with antivirus. I run it everyweek and every scan shows I have this "trojan-backdoor-progdav." I've quarantined and delete it every single time. Then when I run the scan again... it's still there. Please help!!!

Description: Trojan.Backdoor.Progdav is a threat that was drop by another trojan called Trojan.Iteka.



Try using this method:



MANUAL REMOVAL:



1. Temporarily Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP). 2. Update the virus definitions.



3. Reboot computer in SafeMode



4. Run a full system scan and clean/delete all infected files



5. In order to make sure that Trojan.Backdoor.Progdav is completely eliminated from your computer, carry out a full scan of your computer using AntiVirus and Antispyware Software. Another way to delete the virus using various Antivirus Program without the need to install can be done with Online Virus Scanner.



You must have an Administrator Privilege to be able to disable System Restore on Windows XP.



1. On the Desktop, Right Click on My Computer



2. Select the System Restore Tab



3. Mark the "Turn Off System Restore" to disable and UnMark to Enable



4. Click Apply on the Bottom of the Dialog Box to save the settings.
