Task bar pop up about Virus!?

Hi

This has been happening all day

there a warning keep poping up the caution icon in my task bar

and saying "System Alert.....System Detect Virus,Worm,etc...."

so i did a full system scan using Norton AntiVirus and found no virus or anything

then there more pop up windows trying to take me to

virus programs protecter website this is so annoying how can i get rid of this?

P.S. I tried fixing it with SmitFraudFix.exe and it didn't work

From the browser menu, go to Tools%26gt;Internet Options%26gt;Browsing history%26gt;delete button%26gt;delete your Temporary Internet Files and your Cookies.

Now-

Turn off your System Restore-

Go to Control Panel%26gt;double click-System%26gt;click "System Restore tab and check the box "Turn off System restore on all drives" and then hit the "Apply" button and OK.

Reboot the computer.

To turn it back on, simply recheck the box and click Apply.

Task bar pop up about Virus!?internet security 2006

some antiviruses r nasty...they simply give warning messages..do u update ur virus definition file regularly in norton?do that or get a scan done from this site-http://onecare.live.com/site/en-au/defau...
