My son's computer has a Win32 trojan on it. I've scanned it with Trend antivirus, Adware, and also windows defender.
And it's still there. What can I do beside wiping the entire hard drive??

When you're done make sure you re-hide those files you unhid. Windows keeps them hidden for a reason. ;-)

Whats the actual name of the virus?
Try avast anti-virus and do a full deep system scan...Download avast here http://www.avast.com and during the install it will ask you if you would like to schedule a boot-time scan, select yes and restart the computer at the end of the setup. when your computer next boots it will do a full scan.
Also if that doesn't get it then download spybot search and destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/ and do a full scan :)
